Description: If you like dancing you will love this place. They have a great pink room with a disco ball in it where they play R&B, funk, 90's, 2000's and everything in between. Be sure to check the calendar and go at a time they are playing music you will like. Even if you don't like dancing the place is pretty cool.

I loved this place! Went this past weekend for 90s night and had such a good time. The drinks were very affordable compared to other bars, and they were good (& I'm a drink snob). People were getting manicures done, while others danced on the huge dance floor. Loved it, I'm going back in a few weeks for my birthday.

Such a fun time at this place! Very eclectic and great price on drinks. A nice change of pace from the usual places I go to. We met up with some friends and stayed until the place closed. I will be back for sure.

Beauty Bar is hands down one of my favorite, if not my favorite, bars in Chicago. Good music, fun theme nights, reasonable prices, and awesome service. The entire bar is covered in glitter, dryer chairs, and vintage hair product ads. It's like being inside an awesome drunken estrogen blast. I usually go on Sundays when Zach is the bartender, who is always friendly and courteous. Wednesdays are also a fun night to come in. Nicole and Gigi are both amazing nail artists too if you get the martini and a mani special. Gigi does great 3d nail art and Nicole had a huge binder full of custom nail decals she's made.

I always have a good time here. Every time I go, it's different music selection, which makes it more fun. Sometimes it's cold when you get in early before the crowds, that's my only real complaint. The servers are efficient. It's gotten slightly more expensive ($15 for mani & drink instead of $10) but not bad. I always get the mani special because I always come with my best friend and we always want to chat and catch up before we get down to the dancing. Plus it's not bad waking up the next morning with a new fun polish!

This is a really cool place to go with your girlfriends. The dj is great and they have reasonably priced drinks. There are two dancing areas. One near the bar and another in the back. I just found out that there is seating in the back room with fans. You have to check it out.

The legend that is Beauty Bar had been mentioned to me a couple of times before I finally gave it a go--and at the perfect time: it was the "Another 90's Party," which meant my night was filled with drinks, a manicure, Brittney, TLC, and Spice Girls. What more could a girl ask for?

The manicure deal is pretty solid--for $15 dollars you get a martini and mani. I got the "Bed Head" (tequila with pineapple and lime juice--which was strong enough, but not overwhelming) and just a basic manicure. Two gals were manning the manicure table, and churning them out pretty quickly. It's a bit no frills, but for what you pay, it's decent: just a quick file and buffer, with a couple coats and quick dry top coat. I was back on the floor dancing to Savage Garden in no time.

Winter tips: They have a coat check for $4, but whether your turning your coat in or heading back to fetch it, expect a bit of a wait. Also, don't let the frigid temps outside trick you. If you go on a night where you plan to dance, you're better off dressing for the warmer days we all long for. I was wearing jeans and a long-sleeved shirt and wasn't even in the back dancing room but it was still sweltering. I'm just going to go ahead and choose to believe this just means I sweated off the calories from that "Bed Head" drink.

I came here on my 21st birthday, and have returned 3 times in the 1.5 months since. Such a fun atmosphere if you want to dance to groovy/funky/fun pop tunes. Can't wait to go again!

the production company i work for throws shows here and we love it. the space allows for enough room for the crowd it brings it, and even on different nights the music and events here are amazing.

come here if you're looking for a good dance party with decently priced drinks. the crowd here is great and you're bound to have a fun time.
